Welcome to the Bahamas!  
Living in Florida gives us the unique opportunity to take off anytime we want for a quick weekend getaway to the Bahamas. We decided we were ready for a Christmas vacation so we packed a bag and headed over to Nassau for a long weekend between Christmas and New Years. As luck would have it a rain storm the week before postponed the Junkanoo festival to the weekend we were in town! We had no idea until we got into the taxi from the airport. It was a great surprise for us to see the parade and festival. We have included photos from our moped trip around the island and from our resort.
