Sevilla

After we spent the day in Ronda, we traveled to Sevilla for our only overnight trip. We arrived in Sevilla late afternoon and found our hotel. We stayed at a great little place in downtown Sevilla called Hotel Simon. We read about the hotel in Travel magazine and pre booked the room. The cost was about $69.00. We set out that night for a culinary adventure and we ended up in a small Tapas bar about 3 blocks from the hotel. The place looked like a castle inside. We sat at the bar and sampled sherry from about 12 large oak barrels behind the bar. We selected our Tapas from the case at the end of the bar. The bartender did not speak any English but it was no problem. The evening was fantastic and our entire meal with drinks was about $19.00! Since we were only in Sevilla for one day we decided to take a bus tour to get a view of the entire city. We spent most of our time at the Plaza De Espana. The architecture was incredible. We could have spent at least 2 or 3 days in Sevilla.
