Our chef for the evening prepares fresh giant prawns on a wood fire in front of the restaurant. All of their fresh fish was displayed outside on ice. You picked your fish and they cooked it for you on the grill.
After dinner we hit the streets for a nightcap. Cindy got some lessons on hustling drinks to the tourists from our new friend, the bar girl.

Main drag of the beach town Kamala. The front of our hotel is just down the
street on the left.

Walkway on the beach lined with massage tables, food stands, tiki bars and clothing.

What started out as a quick lunch on the beach turned into two hours of food, ice cold beer and relaxing under an umbrella enjoying a cool ocean breeze.

125 cc's of big bad motorbike, It's not the Harley but I gave it my best shot.
What are you lookin at?
We took the bike to the mountain lookout. The beach farthest away in the picture is Kamala.
Back up the coast just north of Kamala we parked the bike to explore a remote beach only accessable from this trail or by boat.
Remote yes, private no. Turns out it's a very well known spot. We hung out for about an hour and had a great swim to cool off.
Each morning we walked along the beach with our coffee. The long boats would travel up and down the coast setting up shop to take people out to the islands.
Our little beach dog walked up and down the beach with us every morning.
This guy was our night beach dog. He seemed to show up in front of the hotel everynight.
