Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep
Cooking school was on our final full day in Ching Mai and this would be our last chance to make it up to the temple for sunset. We arranged for a private car from our hotel to take us up the mountain to visit the temple. The temple was beautiful and the sunset was incredible.

As we arrived at the temple our driver asked in broken english " You go steps or lift". There are two ways to get to the temple, "Steps" over 300 of them or "Lift" a nice cushy elevator for the tourists. Since we spent all day eating Thai food at school, we agreed that Steps were the only way to go.
